I haven't done a meme in a while and a few days ago Elisha tagged me with the 7 Truths meme. The idea is to tell your readers seven things that are true that maybe they didn't know. I think I've already surprised several of my friends with some of these truths but for the rest of the world, enjoy!

• I was adopted when I was a teenager and I know who my birth parents are.
• When I was a kid my birth mother had a habit of buying exotic animals as pets. As a child I had a pet lion (Gunther), spider monkey (Herman), prairie dog (Bailey), baby cougar (can't remember his name), and several types of exotic birds. I'm still trying to get my mom to send me a picture of Gunther for those who have been waiting. :)
• I am a neat freak. I can't stand for the counters to have things on them (other than decorations and hand soap). I make my bed every morning as soon as Jer and I get up because a messy bed makes me grumpy. I also fold the towels in my way and alternate the colors for added zen. I almost always do the dishes before bed and put them away first thing in the morning.
• I used to bite my nails and thought I could never grow them out. I asked God to help me and now I have long, strong nails... that I have no idea how to shape!
• I have been hit by a car... twice. Oddly enough, Jer has been hit by a car as well.
• I strongly dislike reality television. I really don't care who is the better celebrity dancer, the biggest loser, or who gets kicked out of the house. I have, however, recently fallen in love with the reality shows Meerkat Manor and Man vs. Wild. To me these are real reality shows. They don't throw drama in just to keep you on the edge of the seat... these shows actually let people meerkats die!! (My favorite meerkat was killed. :( )
• I'm a bit of a weeper. I tend to cry when I'm happy and when I'm sad. Who knew that Spiderman 2 could be so moving? :)
